Roan PF member of parliament Chishimba Kambwili has pleaded not guilty to forging documents and one count of uttering false documents contrary to the laws of Zambia.
And Kambwili has expressed excitement that his case has been taken to court after receiving a lot of accusations from Economic Equity Party (EPP) leader Chilufya Tayali.
When the matter came up before principal resident magistrate David Simusamba, Kambwili pleaded not guilty to all charges.
It is alleged that on October 29, 2013, with intent to defraud or deceive, Kambwili did forge a document namely no change return (companies from 71) purporting to how it was genuinely signed by Mwamba Chishimba in fact not.

And speaking to journalists shortly after the court appearance, Kambwili said he was excited that his case had been taken to court.
“I am extremely excited that the matter has now come to court because I have received so much mud from Tayali claiming all sorts of things but bringing the matter to court is the best way for one to be clear, so we will wait until we produce the evidence in court and then we shall see.. wina aza lila (someone will cry),” said Kambwili.
The case has been adjourned to the March 6, 2018.
