A TEACHER has dragged the state to court over its refusal to offer him a house where he has been a sitting tenant for 23 years despite his colleagues being offered their houses. Joseph Kandingwa, a teacher at David Kaunda Technical High School has cited the Attorney General as the respondent in the matter. According to the statement of claim filed in the Lusaka High Court, Kandingwa explained that sometime in 1998, he was allocated a house by the Ministry of Education on plot number 4309, Chite road, Woodlands Lusaka by virtue of his position as a teacher at David Kaunda Technical High School.
