KONKOLA Copper Mines has applied to be joined as a respondent to a case in which Vedanta Resources Holdings Limited has sought leave in the Lusaka High Court to challenge acting Official Receiver Celine Nair’s decision to replace Milingo Lungu as Provisional Liquidator. KCM states that decisions which will be made in the proceedings will affect it and therefore, in order to determine all the real issues, it has become imperative to involve all the parties concerned, which parties include the mining company.
