THE Constitutional Court has upheld the Ndola High Court’s decision to nullify the election of Kabushi PF member of parliament Bowman Lusambo. The ConCourt has nullified Lusambo’s seat and further dismissed all his four grounds of appeal. In November last year, Lusaka High Court Judge Edward Musona sitting in Ndola nullified Lusambo’s seat, saying the violence was proved beyond reasonable doubt and that the name “bulldozer” instilled fear in the UPND not to campaign freely. Judge Musona noted that Lusambo did not disassociate himself from his militia group known as ‘the Nato Forces’, which was attacking the electorate.
