FORMER PF deputy secretary general Mumbi Phiri yesterday advised former president Edgar Lungu to withdraw the letter he wrote to Cabinet indicating that he had left active politics so that he can stand in 2026. As a reaction to Phiri’s request, Lungu, who had accompanied his wife to the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court, suddenly started singing “nalitumpa ine” while dancing, but his wife quickly tapped him on his shoulder to signify her disapproval of his act.
