The Lusaka Magistrates’ Court has set August 22, 2024, as the date for judgement in a matter where Bowman Lusambo is facing three counts of attempting to interfere with witnesses. This was after Lusambo closed his defence on Thursday, as the witness who was supposed to testify in his defence was not present in court. It is alleged that Lusambo, between February 1 and April 30, 2022, in Lusaka, in order obstruct the due course of justice, endeavored to dissuade or prevent Cosmas Kapula Chalusa, Ernest Sumani, and Mundia Mataa from giving evidence as witnesses before a court of law.
