THE Judicial Complaints Commission (JCC) has asked the High Court to discharge the leave for judicial review it granted to three Constitutional Court judges following their suspension by President Hakainde Hichilema. The commission argues that any challenge to the President’s decision, including but not limited to the suspension of the judges, is the preserve of the Constitutional Court. On Saturday, High Court judges Charles Zulu, Chilombo Maka and Twaambo Musonda granted Constitutional Court Judges Anne Sitali, Mungeni Mulenga and Palan Mulonda leave to apply for a judicial review of President Hichilema’s decision to suspend them.
