TWO Kalulushi brothers have denied insulting President Hakainde Hichilema before the Lusaka Magistrates’ Court. And Lusaka Magistrate George Njobvu has granted Ernest Kaumba, 22, and his older brother, Elijah Kaumba, 26, K5,000 bail each in their own recognisance. The duo is facing one count of use of insulting language Contrary to Section 179 of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the laws of Zambia. Particulars of the offence allege that the two, on unknown dates but between August 20, 2024 and September 30, 2024, in Lusaka, via social media jointly and whilst acting together did use insulting language to which they both said “Ala HH ama sushi yang’ombe ngayakukola sana ufumepo pabuteko waumfwa wituchusha sana waumfwa.
