SIX medical doctors have asked the Lusaka High Court for leave to commence contempt of court proceedings against three of their colleagues for charging them after they commenced a suit against the Zambia Medical Association (ZMA). Dr Zacks Ndumba and five others have also asked the High Court to stay ZMA’s decision to expel them from the association. Dr Ndumba, Dr Elijah Kapambwe, Dr Martin Mvula, Dr Hastings Sikafuwa, Dr Samuel Siyanga and Dr Oliver Mupini have cited Dr Oliver Kaoma, Dr Mwansa Kaunda and Professor Emmanuel Makasa as the first, second and third intended contemnors.
