A 33-year-old businessman, Jesus Baelo, of Lusaka’s Garden House area has been dragged to the Magistrates’ Court for stealing a phone valued at K14,500. Baelo is charged with theft Contrary to Section 272 of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia. Particulars are that on December 19, 2024, Baelo did steal a phone valued at K14,500, the property of Felix Maluba. When the matter came up for allocation before Chief Resident Magistrate Davies Chibwili, it was allocated to Magistrate Fine Mayambu.
