THE Lusaka Magistrate’s Court has found a 44-year-old man of Kabanana with a case to answer in a case where he is accused of defiling seven children. In this matter, Richard Mwanza is charged with seven counts of Defilement of a Child Contrary to section 138 (1) of the Penal Code Chapter 87 of the Laws of Zambia. Particulars of the offence are that Mwanza, on unknown dates but between January 2023 and November 25, 2023, in Lusaka, allegedly had unlawful carnal knowledge of seven children, all under the age of 16 years.
