Copperbelt Energy Corporation (CEC) has unveiled its US$25,000 partner sponsorship package for the 2017 Mopani/Redpath Zambia Golf Open.

The Mopani/Redpath Zambia Open will be held at Nkana Golf club in Kitwe from May 29 to June 4.

CEC’s announcement comes barely a fortnight after Zanaco PLC pumped in US$20,000 into Zambia’s premier golfing event.

“To further the development and success of golf, CEC hereby donates US$25,000 towards the hosting of the 2017 Zambia Open Golf tournament,” CEC executive chairperson Hanson Sindowe said.

“Past events and indeed the composition of the organizing committee leave us in no doubt that Nkana Golf Club will again put on another successful tournament.”

CEC has been involved in the Zambia Open four the last four years and as partner sponsor at Nkana in 2014 and 2015.
