ZAMBIAN chess players started their campaign on a high note as all four male players won their round one games at the ongoing African Individual championship in Lagos, Nigeria. Zambia Open and Closed Champion, International Master (IM) Richmond Phiri set the ball rolling for the Zambian players when he humbled South Sudan’s Peter Mangang before veteran Fide Master (FM) Nase Lungu edged Alfred Chimthere of Malawi.
