COMMONWEALTH Games gold medalist Muzala Samukonga says he targets winning the World Championships and Diamond League in the 2023 athletics season. Speaking in an interview, Tuesday, Samukonga said he is hungry for more wins in 2023. Samukonga said top of his objectives is winning the World Championships which he has already qualified for after winning a gold medal in 400m at the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games. “Well, I have a lot of objectives set for this season and I’m confident with God by my side, I will be able to achieve some of them. 2023 is for winning. Top of the ladder are the World Championships, the All African Games, the Gaborone International Meet, and the Diamond Leagues,” Samukonga said....
