PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema have his predecessor, Edgar Lungu, have led hundreds of soccer fans in saluting the Copper Queens for booking a slot at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games after edging Morocco 2-0 at the Prince Moulay El Hassan Stadium in Rabat. A brace from skipper Barbra Banda propelled the Copper Queens to back-to-back Olympic qualifications, having first done so in 2020. The Copper Queens join Nigeria as the only two African representatives at the Olympics, with Zambia placed in Group B alongside the USA, Germany, and Australia.
