A UNILUS student of Zimbabwean origin has sued a 34-year-old man of George compound for failing to refund K2,200 after failing to make a booth for her. In this matter, Panashe Mpanda, 25, wants Jason Simutowe to give her a full refund after failing to uphold his end of the deal. Mpanda said she had paid a total of K3,000 for the booth but that Simutowe had only refunded K800 so far. In his defence, however, Simutowe blamed Zesco for the state of his business, saying load shedding had limited his ability to serve his clients efficiently.
