President Edgar Lungu has ordered an inquiry into the power supply failure at the University Teaching Hospital which occurred yesterday.

According to a statement issued by Special Assistant to the President for Press and Public Relations Amos Chanda, President Lungu directed Minister of Health Chitalu Chilufya and his Energy counterpart Matthew Nkuwa to carry out investigations into the circumstances that led to the outage.

The President has asked the two ministers to render a report by the end of the day.
