THE United States will invest approximately K333 million to support the implementation of the new Local Impact Governance project in 27 districts spread across Central and Muchinga Provinces over a five-year period. The project is designed to strengthen local governance in Zambia on the national, provincial, and district levels. And Local Government and Rural Development Minister Gary Nkombo says government is extremely grateful for the support that the US government is offering to Zambia to strengthen the broad-based development and to promote good governance.
