ENERGY Minister Peter Kapala says government is extremely concerned about the continued increase in fuel prices and is doing everything possible to ensure a reduction of the same. Commenting on the recent increase in petroleum products, Kapala, however, said government could not revert to previous ways of adjusting fuel prices after months, as it wanted to manage the debt owed to oil marketing companies. “We are concerned, we are very concerned, extremely concerned, that is why we are doing our best to ensure that we stabilise deals that will allow our people access at least reasonable [prices].
