UPND spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says recent remarks by the Chinese Ambassador to Zambia that government should await good news out of the debt restructuring negotiations with his country have shamed critics who said UPND had ruined Zambia’s diplomatic relations with China. And Mweetwa says the debt payment reduction assistance provided by Zambia’s official creditors is the fastest a debtor country has been able to attain.
