ZAMBIA Statistics Agency Interim Statistician General Mulenga Musepa says the delay in undertaking a census affected planning as the country only relied on population projections, especially when it came to determining eligible voters. In an interview, Musepa observed that projections normally had their own challenges. “Now in terms of planning, obviously it has affected planning in a way- in the sense that we relied on projections, for example, population projections to do any planning. Now ordinary projections of the population after five years projection normally reliability falls.
