OUTGOING Anti-Corruption Commission Director General Gilbert Phiri says he is humbled by President Hakainde Hichilema’s decision to appoint him as Director of Public Prosecutions, promising to execute his duties in the best possible way once ratified by Parliament. And Phiri says he will ensure that the ACC works closely with the National Prosecution Authority so that all corruption cases are effectively prosecuted. Meanwhile, Phiri says he has helped regain people’s trust and confidence in the ACC during his tenure.
