THE Former Parliamentarians Association of Zambia has appealed to President Hakainde Hichilema to consider pardoning incarcerated former finance minister Katele Kalumba. Addressing the media, Saturday, association president and former Nakonde PF member of Parliament Yizukanji Siwanzi urged President Hichilema to pardon Kalumba on medical grounds and old age. “You may wish to know that the former minister who is also a former parliamentarian is currently in hospital battling with ill health. So as an association, we are here to appeal to President Hakainde Hichilema to consider pardoning the former MP looking at his ill health and also his age.
