CHAPTER One Foundation Executive Director Linda Kasonde says the new dawn administration should learn from Zambia’s history that when governments fail to listen to the people, it often leads to their demise. Speaking at an event organised by Bloggers of Zambia on leveraging freedom of expression to strengthen democracy in Zambia, Kasonde hoped that the UPND had learnt lessons of the past and would respect the rule of law. “Our hope is that the new UPND government has learnt the lessons of the past and will respect human rights and the rule of law that in turn support economic emancipation.
