NON-GOVERNMENTAL Gender Organisations’ Coordinating Council (NGOCC) Board Chairperson Grace Sinkamba says she is concerned with the declining number of women participating in the electoral process. Commenting on the validly nominated candidates for the three councilor by-elections that will be held in Serenje, Chililabombwe and Lupososhi districts on April 20 where only one woman is participating, Sinkamba wondered whether violence and cyberbullying were deterring female participation. “As NGOCC, we are concerned on the number of women that are participating in the electoral process by way of being candidates.
