KAMFINSA PF member of parliament Christopher Kang’ombe says the UPND should admit that they never understood the importance of bilateral engagements between Heads of State when they criticised former president Edgar Lungu’s every trip. Commenting on President Hakainde Hichilema’s three-day state visit to Mozambique, Kang’ombe hoped that the ruling party was now appreciating the importance of Presidential trips. “I hope our colleagues from the UPND are now appreciating the importance of the President travelling. Because, when the PF was in power, I think there was this general perception and I think the UPND led a campaign to demonise every trip that the president at that time made.
