UPND Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says the arrest of senior party members involved in the Sugilite scandal is a clear testimony that the rule of law applies to everyone. Police in Mansa recently arrested former Luapula Province Minister Derricky Chilundika, Northern Province Police Commissioner Gloria Mulele, and 17 others, including UPND members, for allegedly illegally mining 23 tonnes of Sugilite.
