MINISTRY of Health Permanent Secretary for Administration Professor Christopher Simoonga says the installation of CCTV cameras in hospitals is good practice as it helps to eliminate criminality in the facilities. The Kitwe Teaching Hospital recently posted on its Facebook page that management had embarked on a project to restrict access to some areas of the hospital by installing security doors and also installed CCTV cameras in order to enhance security at the hospital.
