POLICE have summoned former president Edgar Lungu’s wife, Esther, to appear before the Ibex Police Station tomorrow for questioning. And PF Information and Publicity Chairperson Raphael Nakacinda claims that President Hakainde Hichilema issued such instructions to the police after seeing the kind of reception given to Lungu when he attended Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s Inauguration Ceremony. According to a police call out dated September 4, 2023, the former first lady was expected to appear for interviews at 10:00 hours. “Mrs Esther Lungu, you are requested to report yourself at Ibex Police Station on 6th September 2023 at 10:00 hours for the purpose of interviews.
