CHIEF Government Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa has encouraged former president Edgar Lungu to heed Mumbi Phiri’s advice and proceed to withdraw his retirement letter so that he can freely engage in politics. In an interview, Mweetwa urged Lungu to listen to Phiri, saying he can’t “eat with both hands”. “I had reliable and credible information that they were not going to hold the convention because they were trying to buy time for president Lungu to do a political comeback.
