TRANSPARENCY International Zambia (TI-Z) has called on government to disclose the contents of the Access to Information (ATI) Bill which was presented before the National Assembly on Friday. Last Friday, Information and Media Minister Cornelius Mweetwa presented the ATI Bill to the National Assembly for the first reading. Mweetwa told the House that the objects of the Bill were to designate the Human Rights Commission as an oversight institution on matters relating to access to information; provide for the right to access information and its limitations; provide for procedures for processing requests for information, among others.
