POLICE have recorded warn and caution statements from Socialist Party leader Dr Fred M’membe and PF faction Secretary General Raphael Nakacinda for the alleged offence of espionage. But Dr M’membe says police are “losing it”, arguing that it’s nonsensical for anyone to accuse him of espionage based on his interview with a Zimbabwean journalist following that country’s elections. Dr M’membe has been detained at Westwood Police Station while Nakacinda at Balmoral Police Station.
