FORMER minister of national guidance and religious affairs Godfridah Sumaili says the corruption happening under the UPND administration is bankrupting the country. In an interview, Wednesday, Sumaili said the current corruption was well planned and sophisticated. She said she could only imagine what the $2.8 billion detected by the Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) in suspected illicit financial transfers to Asia could do for the country. “Right now, we are seeing corruption that is white collar, very sophisticated, very well planned but also too much.
