GOVERNMENT has been forced to close down Luangwa Boarding Secondary School, where there has been erratic water supply, due to a cholera outbreak. But the Ministry of Education says it has closed the school for two weeks because of “a number of diarrhoea cases recorded at the school”. According to sources from the school, a number of pupils got infected with cholera, causing their parents to panic. But in an interview, Ministry of Education spokesperson Kunda Mando said some pupils had developed diarrhoea.
