THE Human Rights Commission (HRC) says Petauke Central Independent member Emmanuel Jay Banda narrated to them that the torture he suffered after being abducted was particularly inflicted under his feet. But Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga says officers are yet to interrogate Banda. In a statement, Monday, HRC Spokesperson Mweelwa Muleya stated that the pain on Banda’s feet was subsiding as he was able to freely walk unlike before. “The Commission had an opportunity to interact with Mr. Banda and found all his three wives by his bedside. Mr. Banda himself confirmed that his family members were allowed to visit him from the time he was admitted.
