ACTING Health Minister Douglas Syakalima says government has engaged WHO and other stakeholders to mobilise an additional 197,000 cholera vaccines for Nakonde. Meanwhile, Syakalima says the husband of the 34-year-old female Mpox case reported last week has tested positive for the disease. Addressing the media, Monday, Syakalima said Nakonde was earlier planned for oral cholera vaccinations as it was not among the hot-spot areas. “From 24th December, 2024 to date, we have recorded a total of 13 cases in Nakonde.
