BANK of Zambia Governor Dr Denny Kalyalya has explained that the Freedom Statue doesn’t feature on the new Kwacha notes because the Central Bank wants to promote other heritage sites such as animals and waterfalls. And Dr Kalyalya says two money printing companies were awarded tenders to print the new notes while three other companies were awarded contracts to mint coins.
