FOREIGN Affairs Minister Mulambo Haimbe says it will be premature for him to indicate with certainty that a plan has been put in place in an event that the US Government completely withdraws its aid to Zambia. Delivering a ministerial statement in the National Assembly, Friday, Haimbe disclosed that currently, 16,000 health and community health workers in Zambia were remunerated under US funded health programmes. “The United States of America established diplomatic relations with Zambia in 1964 following Zambia’s independence and has long been one of Zambia’s most valued development partners.
