OUR future is becoming threatened because we, as adults, have no morals, says Agriculture Minister Mtolo Phiri. During his debate on the Presidential address, Thursday, Phiri urged members of parliament to conduct themselves in a respectable manner. “The speech on the first page described this as an August House. That means this House is [comprised] of distinguished, exalted, respected individuals who are respectful and attract reverence. If we lose that, you’ll see people calling this document a useless document. Because they are not exalted. They are not respecting themselves and who sat there to give us the document. There’s no morality. We, as honourable members of this House, need to look at issues in a manner that’s expected of us....
