THE Zambia National Farmers Union (ZNFU) has called for the immediate withdrawal of the Lands and Deeds Registry (Amendment) Bill No. 13 from Parliament, citing a lack of proper consultation with stakeholders. ZNFU president Jervis Zimba says farmers view the clause that seeks to grant the Chief Registrar of Lands the powers to cancel Certificates of Title as a threat to land security.
