MAAMBA Energy Limited has announced that it will be carrying out a planned bi-annual maintenance on its 300MW coal-fired power plant in two phases which will affect power supply. According to a statement issued by its Corporate Affairs Department, Saturday, the 30-days-long maintenance outage will result in reduced electricity available to ZESCO to supply its customers, triggering stage 10 of load management. “Maamba Energy Limited has advised ZESCO Limited and the nation that it will be carrying out planned bi-annual maintenance on its 300MW coal-fired power plant in two phases, from 17th-31st August (15 Days) and 7th-21st September 2025 (15 Days).
