THE Zambia Police Service says it is dismayed by reports that a law firm wrote to the Zimbabwean embassy alleging that police officers abducted Francis Kapwepwe, popularly known as ‘Why me’, from Zimbabwe. In a statement, Tuesday, Police Spokesperson Rae Hamoonga said the apprehension of a suspect was a lawful process and part of the evidence that officers were mandated to adduce during a trial. He added that it was inappropriate and premature for the police to discuss matters that constitute evidence outside a courtroom, stating that they would not be drawn into public debates on the matter.
