A FEW of our readers don’t seem pleased with the fact that we are not relenting in criticising the new government. We have been misunderstood as trying to make the government fail. This is not true. We have nothing against the UPND government and it is, in fact, in our best interest if they succeed in delivering their many campaign promises. The President of the Republic of Zambia is a man whom we openly spoke highly of, and we did state that he held better presidential qualities than his predecessor. We are not shy to confess that our organisation is proud of the outcome of the August elections because we believe, genuinely, that Zambia was in the wrong hands. If...
