JUDGES play a very crucial role in our society. Without judges, the Constitution is useless. Without judges, there can be no rule of law in the country. In the absence of judges, there would be chaos in society and co-existence cannot be achieved. This is why, in whatever we do, we must respect the critical role that our men and women in strange wigs play. Whenever we hear of a development where a judge is implicated in a scandal, it makes us sad because the cascading effect of an erring judge is far reaching.
