PRESIDENT Hakainde Hichilema says he is not an agent of imperialism, and those who are peddling that narrative are speaking from a point of ignorance. The President has been displeased with continuous accusations that he is working with foreigners instead of government technocrats; and that he is a puppet of the Western powers. Critics of the President have been raising concern that he seems to be too attached to American interests than he should, while others claim that he actually prefers to work with white people. In rubbishing this, President Hichilema says such a narrative can only be driven by ignorance.
