ON SATURDAY last week, President Hakainde Hichilema attended a high profile religious event at Heroes Stadium in Lusaka which was graced by the visiting global leader of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. The programme went pretty well as people filled the stadium to capacity. After the programme, President Hichilema took off his jacket and decided that it was time to interact with his friends, the local residents of Mandevu and nearby townships. What greeted him however was not something he obviously anticipated. The residents who accosted his motorcade had only two words for the President: “Unga, fuel”.
