SHOPRITE Country General Manager Charles Bota says the chain store has not been spared from the mealie meal shortage crisis in the country. Mr Bota has revealed that Shoprite is currently receiving only 24 percent of its orders and as a result, the store is limiting the number of 25 Kg bags that customers can buy to one bag per person. Charles Bota: “The position that we are restricting on all bags of mealie meal is not correct, we are only restricting on the 25-kilogram bag of mealie meal.
