POLICE in Zambia have been trying to get to the bottom of the gassing incidents that terrorised citizens between 2019 and 2020, leading to several deaths and civil unrest across the country. In relation to this, at least four people have been arrested, among them, former president Edgar Lungu’s political advisor Zumani Zimba. Since the arrest three weeks ago, Zimba and three others have remained in police custody with no clear indication on when they will appear in court.
