WHEN we write that it might not be a very good idea for Zambians to consider voting back the Patriotic Front into power under the same group of leaders, some people say we are just spiteful of the former ruling party. These are people who have either so quickly forgotten the sights of violence, chaos and state-orchestrated anarchy that prevailed during the rule of former president Edgar Lungu, or benefited from it. Events at the former ruling party secretariat where rival cadres clashed resulting in the damage for property remind us of the Patriotic Front years of terror where lawlessness was the order of the day.
