IN any given country, the number of employees is higher than the number of employers. Naturally, this means that any story of purported poor conditions of service is likely to attract more sympathy from the majority of readers and condemnation towards the employers. This prejudice in the court of public opinion sets the narrative that employers everywhere and anywhere are the same, they all want to get rich at the expense of the workers in a typical capitalist way.
